UnitedHealthcare Pro Cycling take home three out of four classifications

Gavin Mannion and Ruth Winder finished on top of the USA Cycling Pro Road Tour (PRT) standings, marking the close of the 2017 road season and icing on the cake for the UnitedHealthcare Pro Cycling team.

Mannion’s consistent performance, a second place overall at the Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah, along with a second at the Cascade Classic, doubled the points he earned in June earning him the title points ahead of Serghei Tvetcov (Jelly Belly) by 68 points.

Mannion held his lead through the Colorado Classic and into the final race of the season, held September 10.

Winder flew into the PRT lead at the beginning of the season, starting with the overall win at Joe Martin Stage Race and continued to rack up points with teammates Katie Hall and Tayler Wiles, who finished second and third in the series.

Their success put the UnitedHealthcare Pro Cycling women’s team in first place of the team standings. The men’s team finished second overall, with the win going to Rally Cycling.
